GV-TALENT scholarships for excellence in academic achievement in undergraduate university studies and higher artistic studies.
What is
What is it and what is it for
The GV TALENT scholarships are intended to recognize excellence throughout the academic career of university students and higher artistic education students.
Scholarships will be awarded to students with the best academic record in each course and degree. For the 2023-2024 academic year, 1000 euros will be given to each beneficiary.

Observations
The enjoyment of the scholarship is compatible with the receipt of any other subsidy, aid, income or resource for the same purpose, from any administration or public or private entity, national, from the European Union or from international organizations.

Interested people
To apply for the scholarship, you must be enrolled in face-to-face studies, in the 2023-2024 academic year, in one of the following courses:
- Degree, in one of the Universities of the Valencian University System.
- Degrees in higher artistic education in the higher centers of artistic education of the Valencian Community.
You will not be eligible for the scholarship if you are studying in the last year of your degree program.
Requirements
Nationality requirements
- Be Spanish or a citizen of the European Union.
- If you are a citizen of the European Union or a family member of one, you must have permanent residence or work in Spain.
- The nationality requirements must be met by December 31, 2023.
- Exceptionally, for applicants for refugee status or subsidiary protection, the legal residence permit may be obtained until August 31, 2024.
- In the case of non-EU foreigners, the provisions of the regulations on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration will apply.
Residence requirements:
You must be registered in a municipality of the Valencian Community within the application submission period.

Academic requirements:
- In the 2023-2024 academic year you must have been enrolled in face-to-face studies in:
a. Degree or double degree studies in the Universities of the Valencian University System (public and private universities) or centers attached to them.
b. Degrees in higher artistic education, at higher centers of artistic education in the Valencian Community.
- Be enrolled in at least 60 credits or all the credits that make up the full course (both in the case of undergraduate and double degree) and have passed all of those credits.
- You cannot already have a degree of the same level or higher than the one you are applying for the scholarship for.
- A minimum average grade will be required in each branch of knowledge to be eligible for the scholarship. See the AWARD CRITERIA in the regulatory bases.
NOT INCLUDED:
- The last year that gives access to the degree.
- Degrees obtained from degree adaptation procedures are not included.
- In the case of university degree courses, courses with fewer than 20 students enrolled will not be included.
- In the case of double university degree courses, courses with fewer than 10 students enrolled will not be included.

- At the locations specified in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
Assessment criteria
1. The procedure for granting subsidies will be processed on a competitive basis.
2. The scholarships will be awarded according to the average grade obtained in the studies included in the academic year 2023-2024. The minimum average grade to be a beneficiary of this scholarship will be the following:

3. One scholarship will be awarded per course, degree and university, as well as per course, degree and higher centre of artistic education in the Valencian Community to the student who obtains the best average grade. Scholarships will be awarded until the amounts mentioned above are exhausted. In the event that the amount of the scholarships proposed for awarding each course does not exceed the maximum global amount allocated, the surplus will be allocated to the courses with the largest number of people enrolled, increasing by one more scholarship for every 100 people enrolled:
- from 0 to 100 people enrolled 1 scholarship.
- from 101 to 200 people enrolled 2 scholarships.
- from 201 to 300 people enrolled 3 scholarships.
- from 301 to 400 people enrolled 4 scholarships, and so on.
4. In the event of equal scores, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the greater number of honours and, if the tie remains, by taking into account the number of outstanding and notable grades. If the tie persists, the record of the applicant with the lowest income will be awarded a prize, and if the tie persists, the record will be awarded to the sex underrepresented in the degree in which he/she is enrolled. If the tie persists, the Assessment Committee will decide by taking into consideration the student's complete academic record.

You are granted a period of 10 working days, starting from the day following the day of receipt of the notification, to attach the required documents.
If you fail to do so, you will be deemed to have withdrawn your request, following a resolution issued in accordance with the terms established.
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not taken into account for the calculation of working days.

Description
If your application is not complete or does not meet the requirements, the Administration will notify you and give you 10 days to correct or complete it.
The notification will tell you how to proceed to correct your scholarship application.
If you do not complete or correct it within this period, it will be understood that you have waived your scholarship application.

Amount and charge
For the 2023-2024 academic year, the amount of the scholarship will be 1,000 euros for each beneficiary.

Obligations
The beneficiaries shall have the following obligations:
a) Comply with the requirements and conditions established for the granting and enjoyment of the scholarship.
b) To cooperate with the administration in the verification actions necessary to verify, if applicable, the fulfillment and effectiveness of the conditions or those determining the granting of the scholarship.
c) To declare to be in possession or in legal conditions to obtain an academic degree of the same or higher level of studies than the one for which the scholarship is requested.
d) To inform the granting entity of any subsidies or scholarships obtained for the same purpose from any national or international public or private administration or entity.
e) To inform the granting entity of the cancellation of enrollment, as well as any alteration of the conditions taken into account for the granting of the scholarship.
f) Proceed to reimburse the funds received in the cases foreseen in the regulations in force.
Observations
The amount of the scholarship will be
transferred to the universities that make up the Valencian University System and to the centers affiliated to the
centers attached to the Instituto Superior de Enseñanzas Artísticas de la Comunitat Valenciana (Higher Institute of Artistic Education of the Valencian Community), which will act as collaborating entities, as long as they fulfill the requirements to obtain this the requirements to obtain such status, as provided for in Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, 2003, General of Subsidies.

Resignation
Description
