Plain language is based on putting ourselves in the place of the person who reads us: understanding what they want to know, what information they need, and helping them achieve their goals. The aim is that anyone can understand a document written in plain language the first time they read it.
Applied to public administration, plain language is the simple, clear, and direct expression of the information that both public employees and citizenship need to know.
The objective is to communicate to citizens what they need to know in a straightforward way, with correct grammatical structure and words appropriate to their level.
