What is it and what is it for
The purpose of this call for applications is to award prizes for the promotion of academic excellence to individuals who have completed, during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years, undergraduate studies at public universities belonging to the Valencian University System, and undergraduate studies in arts education at centers affiliated with the Higher Institute of Arts Education of the Valencian Community.

Observations
The following students may be eligible for academic excellence awards:
a) Students who have completed their undergraduate studies at public universities in the Valencian Community and at their affiliated public centers in the academic year or years established in the call for applications.
b) Students who have completed their undergraduate studies in higher arts education at centers affiliated with the ISEACV in the academic year or years established in the call for applications.

1. University of Valencia-Estudi General.
2. Polytechnic University of Valencia.
3. University of Alicante.
4. Jaume I University of Castellón.
5. Miguel Hernández University of Elche.
b) Higher Institute of Artistic Education of the Valencian Community (ISEACV).
Requirements
1. Students covered by the following sections may be eligible for the award, provided that they have completed their studies within the years established in the corresponding study plan and that their completion coincides with the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years:
a) Students who have completed their undergraduate studies at public universities in the Valencian Community and at their affiliated public centers.
b) Students who have completed their undergraduate studies in higher arts education at centers affiliated with the ISEACV.
c) Students must not already hold an official university degree or a degree corresponding to higher arts education.
2. The number of awards per degree taught at each of the five public universities in the Valencian Community will be:
1 to 149 graduates - 1 award
150 to 299 graduates - 2 awards
300 to 449 graduates - 3 awards, and so on.
3. The number of awards per degree taught at each of the 13 ISEACV centers will be:
1 to 149 graduates - 1 award
150 to 299 graduates - 2 awards
300 to 449 graduates - 3 awards, and so on.
4. For the purposes of awarding the prize and recognizing academic excellence, no graduate may receive more than one prize and certificate per call for applications.
How to process
Processing process
Each university, as well as the ISEACV, will set up a technical committee, which must ensure student representation and will be assigned the following functions:
a) Verify that applicants meet the requirements.
b) Pre-select the individuals who are eligible for the award.
c) Communicating the results of the evaluation for the purposes of acceptance or express refusal of the award.

The deadline for public universities in the Valencian Community and the ISEACV to submit beneficiary proposals will be fifteen working days from the day following the publication of the call for applications in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Regional Government.

Documentation
The ISEACV and each of the universities shall submit the following documentation:
a) A detailed list of the award recipients.
b) Express acceptance by the proposed recipient.
c) Authorization from the student body to the regional ministry responsible for universities to verify their personal data or, if the proposed person does not provide such authorization, the documents that allow for personal identification.
d) A sworn statement from the student body that they are not subject to any prohibition on obtaining beneficiary status, in accordance with current regulations on subsidies.
Resolution
Deadline
The Resolution, which will put an end to the administrative process, must be issued and notified within a maximum period of 6 months from the date of submission of the proposal by the universities and the ISEACV, without prejudice to any extension of deadlines that may be provided for in the common administrative procedure regulations of the public administrations.
Amount and charge
- The prize money will have a maximum individual amount of €3,000.
- It will be paid to the universities in their capacity as collaborating entities once the head of the Directorate-General responsible for universities has issued a reasoned decision on the procedure for awarding the prizes.
