How to process
Processing process
- The Valencian School of Health Studies is responsible for the recognition of professional qualifications in the health sector that were obtained in other European Union member states for the exercise of regulated health professions.
- The Valencian School of Health Studies will process the procedure to recognise training qualifications or professional credentials in accordance with the provisions of Article 70 of Royal Decree 581/2017, of 9 June, which transposes into Spanish law Directive 2013/55/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 20 November 2013, amending Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications and Regulation (EU) No. 1024/2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System (IMI Regulation).

Documentation
Interested persons must submit the following to the Valencian School of Health Studies:
- Application form.
- Document certifying nationality.
- Copy of qualification or certificate of competence, with official translation (if applicable).
- Copy of the academic certification issued for the studies carried out to obtain the qualification or certificate stating, among other things, the duration of the studies and the subjects or modules taken, with an official translation (if applicable).
- Where the Member State in which it was obtained does not regulate the profession, a document issued by the competent authority certifying that the profession has been pursued on a full-time basis for one year or on a part-time basis for an equivalent period during the previous ten years.
- If acting as a representative, accreditation of representation, unless the person is registered in the Generalitat Valenciana's Representatives Register, or in the A.G.E. Electronic Power of Attorney Register.
