Application for admission to university degree courses at public universities and their affiliated centres in the Comunitat Valenciana for the academic year 2026/2027 (pre-enrolment)
What is
What is it and what is it for
1. Students who meet the corresponding academic requirements and wish to access a university degree course offered by a centre belonging to or affiliated to a public university in the Valencian university system, must apply for admission through the general pre-enrolment process set out in the agreements established by the Management Commission for Access and Pre-enrolment Processes at Public Universities in the Valencian university system, which are published for each academic year in the DOGV.
2. For the purposes of university admissions, the Valencian public universities will be considered as a single university, and therefore the pre-enrolment process will be common and standardised in all of them, regardless of the university in which a student has passed the entrance exam.

-Universitat Politècnica de València
-Universidad de Alicante
-Universitat Jaume I de Castelló
-Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche
3.Students will complete their pre-registration application for admission to the first year of official undergraduate university studies at public universities and their affiliated centers in the Valencian Community for the 2026-2027 academic year, through the online assistant hosted on the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities at www.preinscripcion.gva.es

Who is it addressed to
Citizenship
Interested people
-Students holding a Spanish Baccalaureate degree or an equivalent qualification.
-Students holding a European Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate diploma.
-Students from foreign education systems.
-Students holding a Higher Level Vocational Training Certificate.
-Students who have passed the entrance exams for students over 25, 40, or 45 years of age.
-Students holding a university degree.
How to process
Processing process
All students must submit their applications electronically.
There is only one application form for all five public universities (University of Valencia, Polytechnic University of Valencia, University of Alicante, Jaume I University, and Miguel Hernández University of Elche), and only the last one submitted will be valid.
Degree programs must be listed in order of preference, from highest to lowest.
Students will complete their pre-registration through the online assistant, following the instructions published on the website and also available within the application itself.
Participants:
-Students who have taken the university entrance exams (PAU) in June or July 2026,
-Students from other autonomous communities,
-Students who have taken the UNED university entrance exams and have the corresponding certification.
-Students from previous academic years with approved PAU
-Graduate students.
-Students from vocational training courses.
-Students from foreign educational systems.
Processing bodies
The University to which the first choice degree from the list of requested degrees belongs will be responsible for evaluating the student's record and managing their application.

Single call: from 15 June 2026 until 3 July 2026.
The deadline on 3 July is 14:00.
Students applying through the extraordinary admissions process in the Valencian Community must also submit their pre-registration application within the aforementioned deadline, even if they do not yet know the results of their entrance exam.
If they do not pass the entrance exam, their application will be cancelled.
Important: Only students from foreign education systems will have until 2:00 PM on July 7th to submit their application, even if they do not have all the required documentation.
Form of presentation
Telematics
All students must submit their applications online. No one can submit a paper-based pre-enrolment application to a university. On accessing the website, applicants will find the necessary instructions and messages presented by the help assistant.
Resolution
Deadline
The results of the Pre-enrolment process for the 2026-2027 university course will be made public on 11 July at 14:00.
Students may lodge an appeal against the results of the pre-enrolment process on 13, 14 and 15 July. The deadline on 15 July is 14:00. The final results of these appeals will be made public on 17 July 2025. This appeal process will be processed through the same online assistant through which the pre-enrolment was made and will exhaust the administrative channels.
