What is
The Manuela Solís scholarships are aimed at students who are pursuing university studies in the universities that are in the Valencian University System (public and private universities), as well as studies in Higher Artistic Education, during the 2024-2025 academic year.
These grants are aimed at supporting families with limited economic resources, facilitating access to higher education and promoting equal opportunities.

Who is it addressed to
Students taking the following courses in classroom mode:
Degree
Qualifying Master's Degrees (that enable students to exercise regulated professions)
Degree in Higher Artistic Education
Not included:
Non-qualifying University Master's Degrees
Master's Degree in Artistic Education
Third cycle or doctorate
Specialization studies
Studies of the universities or centers of Higher Artistic Education.
Nationality:
- Be Spanish or a citizen of the European Union.
- If you are a citizen of the European Union or a relative of one, you must have permanent residence or work in Spain.
Nationality requirements must be met by December 31, 2023. Exceptionally, for applicants for refugee status or subsidiary protection, the legal residence permit may be obtained until August 31, 2024.
Residence:
You must be registered in a municipality in the Comunitat Valenciana within the application submission period.
Studies:
- You must be pursuing face-to-face studies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
- You cannot already have a degree at the same level or higher than the one you are applying for.
- You cannot have only one language exam remaining to earn the degree.
Financial and academic requirements:
You must meet the financial and academic requirements set out in the call for applications.

The processing and submission of the application will be made only by electronic means in the processing platform of the GVA.

The procedure for awarding these scholarships will be processed on a competitive basis. Scholarships will be awarded to students who meet the requirements until the budget is exhausted. If the available budget is exceeded:
Applications will be ordered from highest to lowest according to the average grade (therefore, students with an average grade lower than that of the last student receiving a scholarship will be excluded).
In case of a tie, preference will be given to the applicant with the lowest income, and if a tie persists, preference will be given to the underrepresented gender in the degree program in which they are enrolled.

Request
The deadline for submitting telematic applications will be one month from the day following the publication of this resolution in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana (Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana). (Publication DOGV 19-12-2024)
In the event of submitting more than one application, only the last one submitted will be considered valid.

Subsanation
You are granted a period of 10 working days, starting from the day following the day of receipt of the notification, to attach the required documents.
If you fail to do so, you will be deemed to have withdrawn your request, following a resolution issued in accordance with the terms established.
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not taken into account for the calculation of working days.

If your application is not complete or does not meet the requirements, the Administration will notify you and will give you a period of time to correct or complete it.
If you do not complete or correct it within that period, it will be understood that you have waived it.
Allegation / Contribution
At any stage of the procedure, even before the hearing.
You can present allegations, provide documents and use all the means of defense that the law allows you.

Resolution
The resolution is published and notified in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana within a maximum period of six months from the day following the publication of this call (DOGV núm. 10009 de 19/12/2024).

The scholarship has two parts:
- Fixed amount: €3,500 for all eligible applicants.
- Amount linked to academic excellence: depends on the average grade:
- Average grade between 9.00 and 9.49: 1,000 €.
- Average grade of 9.50 or higher: 2,500 €.
Example:
A student with an average grade of 9.75 would receive a scholarship of €6,000 (€3,500 fixed amount + €2,500 for academic excellence).
The beneficiaries of these grants have the following obligations:
1. Enroll and maintain enrollment during the academic year.
2. Comply with the requirements and conditions for receiving the scholarship.
3. To collaborate with the administration in the necessary verifications.
4. To inform the entity that awards the scholarship if he/she receives other scholarships or grants for the same purpose.
5. To inform the scholarship awarding entity if you cancel your enrollment or if there is any change in the conditions that were taken into account to grant you the scholarship.
6. Use the scholarship for the purpose for which it was awarded.

Withdrawal
Withdrawal is the possibility of abandoning an application or waiving your rights in an administrative procedure.

Resignation
In the waiver, the action is definitively abandoned and therefore the right that is intended to be asserted through it, so that the claim may not be exercised again.
The Administration will accept the waiver, declaring the proceeding concluded, unless third parties have appeared to request its continuation or its effects have to be limited due to general interest.
